I may be missing something here, but why would you want to restrict the driver's outlet like that? :?

:?: Why bother. Its illegal to talk or SMS whilst driving, so throw it in the glove box or cubby box and when it rings PULL OVER, or, ignore it and check message bank when you stop.

Why risk killing yourself or others for a phone call! What did you do before mobiles were invented?

I have seen some real idiots behaving badly with mobile phones whilst driving.

Must agree with the lads here. *rick of an idea. Need all the vents nd air possible.

Unfortunately, I'm constantly on the phone in the car at times.
In the D2 my phone sits perfectly next to the auto lever, near the ciggy lighter. (I've got a bluettooth conection though)

For safety, get a handsfree from $5 from the junk shop.

Best thing about going bush or up the beach - no or very little reception - I turn it off and leave it in the glovebox, until I get back (then i have a trillion bloody voicemails )AARGH.

Be no good to me, I never talk on the mobile whilst driving, I'm too busy SMSing.
