It would be great Mick, but a bridge too far for me in July I'm afraid

Well it was a fantastic event.
I believe there was a total of 32 Paddleboats, plus many other boats from times gone by, an incredible amount of stationary engines of all shapes and sizes, cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, and even planes flying overhead. The weather was very kind for both days, however the wind was a bit on the fresh side today (Sunday). Here are some pics.

Nice,, will definitely have to put it on the bucket list of things to do![]()
On the Sunday they had a "Flotilla" with all the boats out travelling up and down the river in front of the rally site and giving free rides to spectators.
It was a wonderful site to see.
Cheers, Mick.

Yeah, would have been good to watch, and even go for a ride.
Used to love going over to Echuca to see them. I actually helped with the restoration of the Cumberuna ('s) in Albury many years ago, painted various parts, was a cool thing to do I thought at the time. Not sure where's she's parked at the moment, hasn't been in Albury for a few years that I know of,, well, at least I haven't seen her there when I've gone home anyway.
As a quick aside Mick, I found dads medals, now just have to work out whether in fact they are dads or grandads, and have them fixed. Thanks again for that.![]()

Marcus they should have the name and service number of the recipient stamped on the side/edge of them.
Also did both your father and grandfather serve in the same conflict?
World War One medals are different.
Cheers, Mick.
