Reading the current terms and conditions is interesting.
even if you leave the site..........they still have the right to fine you for using 3rd party posting.
I tried down loading my albums.........the site will not currently let me do that.
I want to complain to Photobucket directly just for the hell of it....can not do that currently.
I must say everything you up load to their site becomes their property and has always been the case and the same for other sites...........just interesting watching these clowns pull this stunt and now slowly rot away .....I love it when greed back fires.

    Interesting.
I just logged on to Photobucket. It's a jumbled mess. Well, it displays as a jumbled mess.
I can't do anything with it.
I tried to delete some photo's. I couldn't work out what was selected. I couldn't do anything.

Not received that email, yet. Photo's haven't been blocked, yet.

    Well,
I managed to log in on a non windows computer.

It took a while. Ads popping up everywhere. All my photos are now deleted. I do not agree with their altered terms an conditions.

Now to rebuild on another site.

Created a flickr account but trying to find out how to post a picture.
I'm able to post links to the picture rather than get the picture to come up in the thread.

I hate it when you finally have the hang of software and suddenly you have to change, I must be getting old & grumpy (or grumpier....).

$50 US for a year - that's not too bad IMO. Makes Photo****it look even more stupid...

Will sign up for the free account and see what it's like and how it works - I'd pay the dollars if it's a good platform that works as stated.

Gav, for less money than Photobucket are asking, I can:

    • Buy my domain
    • Host the domain to build my photo site with 100gig or storage and 1000GB/mth of traffic
    • Subscribe to Adobe Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC to edit my images

And still have close to A$200 unspent........ that makes Photobucket look very very greedy.

As Dave said, Flickr Pro is a great deal for a buy it off the shelf solution.

Hmmm, seems to be an issue selecting and copying the bbcode from an iPad which sort of renders the site useless to me. Looks like this has been an issue for some time from the searches I've done.
