    Daves Shed Build

Well it is about to start, I hope. The shed bloke came yesterday and marked out the site.

Today a truck load of crushed rock arrived to level the site for the slab.
I have one 40 foot and two 20 foot shipping containers. The plan is to space them as shown in my rough sketch and roof between them and the shed.

Tom, if you are reading this, mine's bigger than yours
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

A bit of trimming and clearing was required. This I did a while ago.

The branch on the right was hanging back so if I just cut it, it would have fallen on the fence and damaged it,
so I hooked up the winch and put a bit(a lot) of tension on it, so when I cut it, it fell forward.

I got a good lot of firewood from this.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I am interested in how you are doing this Dave, as I have had similar Idea.
Are you cutting any of the walls out of the containers?

Have not thought about it but probably not. I will most likely just use them as storage as well as secure storage for any valuable stuff.

Below is today's work. Getting the base level.
The slab will be going down next week, weather permitting.

Donate a 101 and you can move in rent free as soon as it is finished.

Slab went down today. They said that they will start the shed in weeks
and should have it finished by the end of August.

    That's a lot of concrete.

Being that close to the rail line, you could run a spur line into the shed and get yourself a loco to restore...
