Gee moving rocks with that crane truck is doing it the hard way! Despite that, looks like you've done a nice job of it.
I'm a builder and I would always insist on piers to natural ground. I was born, raised and did my trade in Adelaide and know the ground moves a fair bit. Wetting the slab is great for finish and preventing surface cracking and will assist with better curing too .
Looks like you have done a great job, enjoyed the process and have some nice kit to play with!
