Mark, one of the great disappointments in my life was this: My sister, who is 10 years older than me, had a Passport that identified her as a British Subject, and I couldn't get one. Being a British Subject has far more attached to it than just getting fast tracked through immigration at Heathrow. If I had a British Passport I would hang onto it as hard as I could. It is without doubt the best Passport you can hold, and it is sad that Gough threw it away in 1973 with his Queen of Australia Act.
