    We are doomed again....

    tomorrow 3rd september 2017 get ready to duck.
    a 5metre diameter rock is going to whizz past between the earth and the moon
    at an altitude of approx 345,000km it will fly past at only 14,800kmh.
    ....phew....close call.

    but wait....theres more.

    on thursday october 12th 2017 another one is going to give us a haircut.
    this one is 16km in diameter, flying at 27,300kmh this time and at an altitude of only 38,140km...

    we are doomed.....

    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    .....and after it's all over a tiny speck of rock carrying a couple of microbes will hurtle through space for hundreds of years, eventually finding landfall on an Earthlike planet and the whole thing will start all over again.

    Yeah, and some people who may or may not be friends of mine, who may or may not have served in a distant Asian country, may be digging up their prepper stash. Or Not.
