    Interesting Magazine from UK.

I have recently ordered a whole lot of parts from the UK fo my D4. I did not take much notice of the boxes as I was just interested in the parts. Today I was busting up the boxes to fit in the garbage bins, and I found they had put in a magazine/ newspaper called "The Landy". What a great read. Lots of info and also lots of information on where to get parts both OEM and specialist. It has a subscription of 25 UK pounds. Just wondering if others have seen or subscribe to this publication.

This raises an interesting question - which Landy magazine is best?
I've never seen that one so can't comment on it.
I was in a newsagent in Brisbane this morning and saw three Landy mags:
    Land Rover Owner International
    Land Rover Monthly
and and another one called something like Practical Land Rovers or Basic Land Rovers (can't remember exactly).
    I bought LR Monthly.
Which LR magazines do people buy and why?

It all went down hill after that Laurie, it's more like a commercial phone book now.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

I flick thru the above mentioned ones at newsagent - the articles wouldnt be more than 1000 words - 2 pages mostly pics and then advertising for pages and pages .

I buy " Octane "- as it has varied content and really good articles , the other mag i buy ( not as often ) is called "Fuel " - and it is beautiful , more like and artsy car fetishists book .......heavy paper , great photos and good articles .
Muscle cars , Hot Rods Classic cars , Sports Cars , well worth a flick thru .

I used to get 'The rodders Journal ' but its become a parody of itself and disappeared up its own oriface .........

I bought on recently called CLASSIC LAND ROVER I found it to be a good read with a lot more stories than adds. Can't have been around for too long , Usually the more they sell the more people want to advertise in them.

It's a tough life in magazine land now as so much advertising has gone online.
Logically, I would get digital subscriptions as they are so much cheaper than print, but I like holding a magazine.
