Did you witness these hoons doing a burnout while being towed on the Hume freeway near Seymour?

Police are asking if there are any other witnesses who can establish the time of the incident, provide photos-videos, etc. Info to Crime Stoppers.

Apart from the smokescreen what laws have they broken? I'm assuming lots, but I honestly don't know - being in the car whilst it's on a trailer on the road no doubt, but can you be hooning if you're not actually on the road?

The tossers certainly need a kick up the bum, but it is a novel idea...

Well the boys in blue would know who it was............ the plates were on the car.

They should also know the time from the vid that was shot alongside which would have been posted on 'social media' before the news broadcast it.

The Hume also has time / number plate / speed cams.

I need to go for a drive to get some more donuts now, DL

Notice the idiot hanging out the passenger window, unrestrained not wearing a seat belt . I don't think its legal to be riding on a trailer, in the back of a ute etc, etc, sorry idiots like this have no place on our roads

Oh dear......30 years ago when I was young I did silly things....

30 years on I'm much wiser but don't like to give these guys too much stick because I did similar things. Much like when my kids do something stupid (just like I did) I cannot really go off my top at them, I do sit them down for a chat, point out the wrong and hopefully they walk away a little wiser.

Agree, stupid, shouldn't happen on public roads, the dills will get caught.....hopefully they will learn a lesson or two before somebody gets hurts.

They aren't on the road - that's the whole point - so, not wearing a seatbelt, what else?

As Weeds said, we were all young once.

Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
    Insecure load.
    Riding in/on a trailer.
    Limb out of the window.
    No rego or CTP.
Any defects on the van or trailer.
    Drug/alcohol test and search.

Then we can start on pollution, noise and air.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

They know who they are. They are part of a race team. The car is a purpose built race car. They just left a race meeting. They have been banned from that track now aparently.

    Cheers Rod
