    ITS ONE THE ROAD AGAIN

    About 3 yrs ago I brought a 94 disco TDI 300 very cheap with engine that had had seen better days Body wise it is pretty good usual alpine window rust and minor rust in a couple of other places
    a week ago it went back on the road with a totally rebuilt engine with all genuine parts 20th oversize, new torque converter auto serviced etc I have done 400 ks and at 500 will change oil.
    Its now time to start work on the appearance and gen tidy up. The main problem has been the steering box seal but 2 kits later no leaks The first one was my mistake, and the by a pass hose clamp was allowing a water leak but I expected some teething problems and hopefully they are all sorted I have a full set of mags as per the spare to be fitted but will wait until I get the mag wheel nuts to suit

    Hodgo, please tell me they're not like this as I just got rid of a full set of nuts and covers to a bloke I didn't know from a bar of soap. He approached me last week at Strathpine Shopping Centre and was doing up a D1 for his son.
    I did mention AULRO so hopefully he'll come on board. Seemed a decent bloke.

    I had a full extra set from when I did the Gibb, Gunbarrel, Simmo 12 years ago. Never used one!

    That looks like them I have been lucky with a lot of second hand parts brought a lot scored a lot at the right price
