Bruce McAvaney has been waffling for quite some years.
I don't like his interview style. To me, his interviews appear as if he is the subject of the interview.
Oh, and intelligence has never been a major trait of a footballer. I don't think ability to string a few words together into a comprehensible sentence has been a requirement on the football field, football stand or commentary box.
The players should be left alone doing what they do best.
