My elderly M&D have about 20. Love to get hold of the low life thieves. Very official looking had them worried and sadly clicked on the links in the email which tried to install malware

In the last few days I have been deluged with scam infringement notices. I received six yesterday and at first I treated it as a bit of a joke and deleted them but it is now getting beyond a joke. I know we have had Threads on this subject before but has anybody else been deluged lately? What can be done to stop this, I delete and block them as they come but they pop up again under another name and get through.![]()

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

They seem to have stopped, I was getting a heap of them over the last few days. I'm hoping they have given up, realising they are wasting their time...........and mine!
Not infringement notices - I seem to be getting a lot of fake invoices lately though. Latest was one from MYOB - but the link to click on to view the invoice took you to a Landon Hotel!

We used to get dodgy invoices through the finance section at a local TAFE I worked at before retiring. And some of the dept. "managers" signed off on them.....
Story here in WA recently of African scammers diddling little old (mostly) ladies/men out of their life saving with promises of various kinds. There's scams going all the time and it's nothing new, just have to be wary of what you're paying for.
"A fool and his money are soon parted" someone once said. No wonder then that I've got none.

I got a phone call today saying
"Me or someone in my family has been in an accident in the last 12 months and they were from the accident insurance council."
I replied " Oh dear that was me ( then pretended to get all upset). They started to console me. Then I told them that it was a terrible accident and it has brought back devistating memories of me hitting a school bus and pushing it over a cliff. All 37 kids on the bus and 4 teachers died. At that point they were all , oh dear I am so sorry to remind you of this, please forgive me.
I replied, that's ok, they pulled all the bodies out of the bus and transported them to hospital, where they all got better again.
The was a ghostly silence at the other end until I told them what an inbred moron they are and hung up.
The other one I like to use is, you cover the speaker of the phone with your hand and breathe really heavily into the mouth piece and say in a real creepy voice " What are you wearing "
They hang up straight away!
