    Hybrid cars 🚗

    Well, here I sit in the pub with Leeanne about to have our Wednesday night feed after a 12 hour shift,,, and bugger me dead,, do I need a drink 🥃
    Walking across the road, very slightly diagonally,, hobbling along as I do, when suddenly a car goes zooming past at pretty much full power. A Toyota Hybrid sedan,, didn't see it as we started to cross the road,, and definitely didn't hear him until he was basically past me. Scared the crap clean out of me,, buggers should be made to have some kind of noise attached at car park speeds so us decrepit half deaf buggers can have a bit of warning ⚠️

    Like they do to Harley's?

    Take off the cat,do a bit of this and that,easy as.

    On another note,we are told on Qld to have our AC units on 26 degrees as there isn't enough power to go around.

    Now what will happen if we all had those electric things,and came home and plugged them in?Surely the power grid would have no hope at all of holding the load.

    They would pull a lot more amps recharging than the average a/c unit

    That will work out well,so they charge when they want to,not when you want it to charge.
