OOPS!!!! I was led astray. It was the torque converter that was loose.........! Still lucky
A few days ago my van started to make a noise like it had an exhaust leak. Not too noisy and got worse on accelleration or when motor holding back. This noise got slowly worse until yesterday I took it to an exhaust shop to have it checked. No problem with the exhaust. It was the flywheen coming loose and rattling around. It was able to be retensioned in 1 hour through an inspection plate. Boy am I lucky.

Seen this on a Chev Impala that the family owned... We ended up welding the torque converter on and sold it about 6 months later...
Would not have liked to remove and replace after that job....
