I carry 2, One is a trauma kit the other is just a headache, hangover, splinters and minor burns kit.

Price looks as though it is a bit high - but obviously depends on contents

FWIW the crowd at the link below are OK to deal with and have quite a range to choose from, we have a couple of theirs ..

The Saint Johns Ambulance kits are pretty good as they have good quality components in them.
Most kits however have only enough gear to treat superficial injuries which in reality are pretty useless for anything other than small cuts and burns and are of little use in an emergency situation so it pays to go through any pre made kit and remove the superfluous items to make room for more practical and useful items.

Personally I would think that carrying first aid training and experience is Far more important than Any first aid kit.

Ready made kits are generally dearer than making your own. The contents required will vary according to the intended purpose, it's not a one size fits all.
Is your First Aid certificate up to date?

May I recommend you call QAS Queensland Ambulance Services for first aid kit , or corresponding service in your state for others.
They are realistically priced well packed and come in secure carry case , and use the best , most effective products , just as they use.
If you are not first responder trained they will not sell you a "trauma" kit.

We also carry a St Johns 'off road' first aid kit for trips but have suppliment it with many items for more serious events. The boss is a nurse and we both hold current first aid certificates. We also have smaller kits that are always in our vehicles next to the fire extinguisher.

I saw a reasonable looking basic kit for $29 on ebay this morning but cant find it now, was a promo.
