    Nope i dont
atm it in a ponzi scheme that's self feeding till it goes pop after which if it survives it would be worth investing in, hell even Jordan Belfort (wolf of wall st) thinks its a scam and well he would be bale to spot one
It also does not have enough wealth in it to be considered a currency yet.

but if you had a lazy 10k or so around and wanted to take a punt on something their are far worse things to punt on

Have you got a 3D printer?
Surely you couldn't get arrested for counterfeiting them as they don't exist?

You are 5-10 years too late.
when everyone and their dog is talking about it , it will be over very soon.
At the start of the great depression the saying was that when lift drivers were discussing shares it was time to sell.
I get a number of emails every day saying my bitcoin account had been established and all I have to do is send money.

    Regards Philip A

no but you can setup a bank of computer's to do what they call mining basically solving complex math's problems which then pay for each one solved a % of a bit coin.
but their is no physical hard currency the hardest it could get would be to buy some and save to a usb stick.

Same with real-estate when mum and dad investors are talking about an area the big money to be made is all ready gone or been brought and then sold off to these mum and dad investors who end up in a ponzi scheme with each other till their is no more buyer's
Hence why Australia lets in 300'000 plus immigrant's every year, its the old throw enough crap at a wall some of it will stick not efficient or a way to improve standards of living but makes polies look good cause their has been a record offical period of growth, even if its really been stagnate since the GFC

    Up, down, sideways, who knows

I bought some mining equipment (bitcoin gear) about 4 years ago. It was “interesting” to watch the little lights go blankety blink as they processed the calculations. When the cost of a bitcoin dropped from near $1000 back to something closer to $250ish (I think), I got sick of the noise of the fan whining away keeping the rig cool so shut it down. I’d forgotten all about it until earlier this year when the bitcoin cost was moving upwards and reaching some news. I managed to find my passcodes and logged in for a little surprise that the mining had netted some “value” in bitcoin. Of course I would have been better of not having bought the gear (which is now only worth antiquity value to collectors due to the difficulty rating to which the mining calculations have risen vs the cost of electricity and the age of the tech I have) and rather leaving the bitcoins I used to buy them as just bitcoins in an account.

But, I’m happy enough for now to let the account roll along with the recent upserge in interest for now. Apparently some countries where their currency is now worthless due to hyperinflation has bitcoin values in their exchanges about 150% the “value” of exchanges elsewhere - seen as a more stable and less politically susceptible way of holding currency value. Anywho - interesting times these...

I used to have a 'Bit of Coin' but now I am mostly electronic with my banking

Block chain is with us for ever. Coin is subject to change as always.
