    Tractor body parts

Any of the tractor enthusiasts on here know of any suppliers who sell tractor body parts such as bonnets etc. for Massey Fergusons?
Are there any companies reproducing these type of parts?

    Cheers, Mick.

I used to paint 4 or 5 old fergys every year when I worked for a massey dealer. We had a local fibaglass guy make a mould for the guards and used to buy about 15 sets a year off him for the local market. Never done a bonnet but repaired some quite bad ones. I can chase up the guy with the guard mould if you like but its probably 10 years since I seen a set
    cheers

    G'day Mick,
Have you tried a tractor forum at all? Other than second hand dealers, or possible collectors, I cant think where else you'd get body parts. They must be out there though.
There's a fellow near Yarrawonga who collects, however, I think he has mostly the really early larger type units, not so much Fergies.

Bare Co has an online catalogue and I think has many panels for Fergys and many other parts for many tractors.
They also sell a lot of universal stuff for hydraulics and seats etc.
Bare Co sells through it dealer network and their parts are normally available at every tractor dealer and tractor workshop.

Bare & Co used to have quite a good range of panels... Nearly all panels for the Ol Grey fergies... And most Massey panels...

That would be your best bet as they had the press dies for a lot of these...

    PS What model Massey?

There must be a mob like Tillys, in your neck of the woods.

You could PM Sitec, he knows a bit about tractors.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

I'm currently restoring my grandfathers 1961 Massey Ferguson 35 tractor and I'm ordering all my parts from Brett Eastman in Melbourne.

Tractor Spare Parts - Ford F Series Parts F250 F350 Australia

He supplies Bare-co & Sparex parts for Fergies. Rather than buying off his eBay store, I'd either phone or email him as he may be able to offer a discount on some items. It's definitely cheaper than going through a tractor dealer.

Bare-co products are very good quality although some engine rebuilders prefer using BEPCO liners & pistons but it may be only due to a more competitive price.

Sparex parts are now owned by AGCO who also own Massey Ferguson.

    Mechanical parts are no issue.
It's mainly bonnet and grille parts I am after.
A good tough old steel bonnet, but some people still manage to destroy them.
I looked through the BareCo site and they have a large array of panels, but unfortunately bonnets are no longer available.

    Cheers, Mick.

I had a browse through this site and they have a lot of good gear.

    Thanks, Mick.
