    D1 to D2 :)

Well, all the planets have aligned and a D2 is on the cards.

somewhere around '01 would be preferred though must be difflockable ,, as I would like the 4 spot calipers, not sure if these two go together---? ( or do all D2's have 4 spots F &R ?)

now a few questions to my new D2 brothers,,
do they all have stainless exhausts?
    what is "Hiace" suspension?
    was air-suspension available?
what does the "ES" designation mean?

and no,, I dont need 7 seats,, hell, I still cant work out why we need 4 doors---.

The weird thing is, theres nothing really wrong with BUB91,, a tiny bit of rust and two tone paint is about it.

the good news is the purchasing is not dependant on the sale of BUB,, so I dont have to accept the first (incredibly rediculous) offer.

    So all my fellow AULROians,,
anyone got a D2 for sale??

Don't know what the Hiace suspension is all about.... never heard of it. Could be you're talking about ACE which is Active Cornering Enhancement which is bloody brilliant. Hydraulics help keep the vehicle flat in corners.... I don't have it, but everyone I know that does, loves it. Air suspension is available on the 7 seaters standard. I think it was an option on the 5 seat models. ES was a luxury pack giving leather electric seats and a few other goodies like a compass in the rear vision mirror!
Have to say that we love our d2 without all the fancy gizmos

 nah,a disco would be too flash for a work truck and thumper is running again, and i was a little out with my estimate of cost
    ops: ops: ops: ops: ops:

it only cost me $87.25 for the VRS gasket set, against the $167 quoted in the cattle dog from 4wd in melbourne, plus oil and filter and rad coolant plus still to get lower rad hose from somewhere, local rad shop said can only get orig item from rover, thinking load of crap ,but will have to see what i can find, thanks but no thanks, and bub is only a two door 8)
