You South Australians take care, big bushfire

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

Seems suburban Melbourne is already copping it. Stay safe all you southerners.

Could have been a whole lot worse everywhere today - The fires in Melbourne’s east have damaged some properties but last I heard everyone is safe. Also a decent fire near Keith as well - not sure how that is going.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

If the wind keeps up tonight it'll head into Ngarkat and probably burn in there for days. Western Victoria might see it hop the border fence.

The Erickson Skycrane flew over me this morning. It was heading to somewhere in the south west.

We were one of many brigades turning out for the Carrum Downs fires. So shocked to hear it was a young girl that started it. One house destroyed. So many firefighters working hard to protect other houses and control what was burning. Something she'll have to live with.

Thank God for the Firies. Good on you, and your mates. You don't often hear about the cost. In this case it was a faulty electric fence.
