    Cool New 4WD free subscriber e-zine !

One that calls it as the editorial staff see it, without fear or favour!

It's here and it's FREE - the first issue of Loaded 4X4 is available now!

    http://www.loaded4x4.com.au/issue-001/

I think Steane and David have done a stellar job.
And with an unbiased opinion of Land Rovers too as several of us drive them. Steane's 110 is featured in the first issue. I don't think he can still believe I've sold my 130....
Yes, I have to declare an interest in this too.
    Oils aint oils, Sol.

If you like it, please share the link wherever you can.
If you have suggestions, please forward them.

    Rick.

I have had the pleasure of working on Steane's Defender. It is a truly beautiful thing.

Few more editions and you all will be making tv shows tooNew 4WD free subscriber e-zine !
Just don’t add “o” to the end of your names. I don’t think “Steaneo” or “Ricko” has a real good vibe.

    It’s been a good read.New 4WD free subscriber e-zine !

I really enjoyed the magazine and have subscribed and passed the link onto friends and family.
I remember about 15 years ago David Wilson ran a Land Rover 4WD training program which I went on. Although I had been 4WDing for many years before that I learnt some new techniques. He has since trained some of my companies staff members in 4WDing. - David is a very good communicator and experienced instructor. Its great to see that he is involved in the magazine.

Not bad guys, but a very similar format to Unsealed by Mr4x4. I know you've put heaps of work into it, so hesitant to criticise. But for me it's just to similar to other offerings, too celebratory of everything 4x4. Not enough critique. Too polished if I'm really honest.

Tojo 70 series review highlights all the benefits of a Defender, fuel economy, wheel track, four coils, practicality. Not bad.

i enjoyed the D5 review, some good insight and well described critique. Tempted me to test drive one, but then the price scared me away again.

The Nissan Benz ute story is struggling to make generic dual cabs interesting. It's a Nissan with a star on the front.

Steane, your Defender is exquisite, but the new bling is not reality. I liked it better when it was rough and ready. Real. Not many Defender drivers would polish with a toothbrush. Infact a real Defender would be lucky to get a wash once a year. It's the patina of a Defender that counts, not the polished flanges.

I applaud your Beanie Festival article, but to follow it with a blood spattered 'Cujo' bogan ute story undid your good work. Dragged the whole thing back to the usual all conquering insensitive bush bashing focus of most 4x4 mags.

More everyday, more genuine journeys, more personal backstory, more respect for country and it could be interesting.

Sincerely and with no malice whatsoever intended, because I know how much work you guys have put in, best wishes for the next issue
    cheers,
    Zeros.
