What's the worst injury your Landy has done to you?

Currently I'm only sporting a couple of knuckles with no skin and a small gash to the head. For that I blame the guru who came up with the idea of that stupid started motor nut.
My wallet seems to be suffering some sort of Land Rover induced haemorrhaging disorder and has been for a while now.
The worst though is the Land Rover Induced Traumatic Anxiety Disorder, LRITAD, whenever the car makes a clunking sound which is more than likely caused by the centre diff being very clunky when towing. I've had this disorder before when 5th gear disintegrated.

Head wounds do bleed a lot.

The back door of the Defender swung shut on me one day on a slope, so I installed a door stay.

I also ripped my shorts on the front of the Defender's seat rubber - does the count!

serious bruise to the ego.....

Glad I can raise the spirits of some one. Geeze I`m just one of those team players that likes to give till it hurts, literally. So stay tuned for a possible up date soon. I will be replacing the power steering return line when it turns up.

I got one of those from my daughters Prado!

Fitting the winch into my D4 Bar “on vehicle” - was doing it myself so holding the winch in place with one arm and trying to fit the bolts from the other side with my alternate arm.

Lost my grip and dropped the winch - gearbox first into my forehead. This then drove my head backwards into the gravel driveway (yes I know should have had the vehicle in my workshop)...

Result; Mild Concussion, A split forehead and cuts to the back of my head also...

Wiping the blood from my face I managed to succeed on the second attempt [emoji41]

Hmm, this may explain why I 'forgot' about this injury.

Several years ago when I was lifting the head on the Deefer (and found a cracked piston to go with the blown head gasket) some numpty who shall remain nameless (and no, it wasn't Numpty!) didn't tie the bonnet back when he leant it against the widnscreen
The smart thing would've been to remove the bonnet entirely, once the stay is unbolted a Deefer bonnet lifts off easily with an extra pair of hands.

Anyway, a gust of wind had the bonnet lock nearly pierce my skull.
Lots of claret ensured, it did knock me out momentarily and my partners son nearly freaked when he saw me on the ground.

After I gathered my wits I drove myself to the ED as the blood flow hadn't stemmed to be paid out on unmercifully by the RN on duty who just happened to be my partner....[bigwhistle]
All the staff came in to give me grief too.

The joys of a small country town. [biggrin]

I cut away a piece of the carpet under the drivers seat to fit my ARB air compressor and stabbed my finger with my razor sharp pocket knife. I earned 4 or so stitches for my effort. Blood, sweat but no tears as boys don’t cry!

My Landy has done it again, I went to put something in the car but I'd parked a bit too far over in my garage, so had to stand too close to the door when I opened it, and hit my forehead with the door, I can still feel the lump nearly 12 hours later!
