A friend lives near the Wellington Point boat ramp. He reckons a good Sunday afternoon's entertainment can be had by grabbing a six pack and sitting in the shade at one the picnic tables and watching the stuff ups, fights, domestic arguments of the boaties.

We call them Ramp Rats down here, see them down at Hastings boat ramp. "Schandenfreude", having a drink and laughing, instead of maybe lending a hand to a novice or inexperienced..

I'd rather lend a hand to some one on their own struggling than to sit back a curse them for taking too long.
