In my opinion VW should be applauded, Don't the dickhead consumers realise VW were trying to help them out , by giving them better performance & economy that they would have otherwise achieved with the implementation of the over the top emissions regulations. If I had a VW with the special factory treatment no way i'd be handing it over to be made 'right' .!!

I thought they were only illegal in Amurica where light diesel emissions were the same as petrol or something. The rest of the world was no problems.
