So, I was disappointed. BUT, IF he IS suffering from depression, then, for me anyway, that puts a different light on it, because EVERYTHING will have a different perspective in his eyes. If he is diagnosed with depression, then He needs to seek professional help.

This guy is still ranked #17 in the world.

He must do something right , it would be very , very difficult to get into the top twenty in the world.

Everyone else has said what needs to be said about him , good or bad.

I think the guy is a bit cleverer than we perceive and he's taking the ****.

I think he is 100+ now, or so I read. If he were still 17 he would not have to qualify for the AO.

Having had a brother who was bi polar ( or schizophrenic ) and eventually committed suicide, I think the "pile on" since the retirement is not helpful to say the least.

My thoughts when I saw him eat crow over and over in the interview was about what it was doing to him emotionally.

I hope we do not see a suicide from this.

    Regards Philip A
BTW I think that this series is even more highly manipulative than earlier ones. Note the question to Mundine about what he thinks of Danny Green and lo and behold Danny Green comes on tonight. Coincidence?

i'll only add that , money can not solve whatever demon is riding him .

There was a great show on ABC over Xmas , it was on late -too late at night to be truely effective .

Called " Man-Up " on male suicide and depression , it is a terrible terrible problem that kills more young ,and older men than anything else in this country .

watch it , tell ya mates , always ask ' how are you ' and maybe WE can all figure out how to stop it .

The Black Dog can sneak up on you .

I always thought he was a tool but i believe he needs help, sounds like the pressure from his parents to perform in tennis has taken its toll.
If he hates it so much he should quit and take up something else.

#17 is the highest ranking he got too years ago - he is now around 165. He is clearly not a bit cleverer than we think - he has thrown it all away as evidenced by him going on the show.

And I don't have Foxtel...Tomic quits - proves everyhing I thought of him.
Me too. My daughter got me going on GOT, and I love it.

I have cancelled Foxtel. I get much better entertainment, when I want it, from Netflix, Amazon and Stan at a fraction of the cost of Foxtel. The AFL I watch on an app.

GOT isn't back on for around 18 months, so we'll see who has it then. I would not be surprised to see HBO launch here before then.

No commercial TV has been watched in this house for over three years.

If you like GOT , try 'Banshee ' , for a slower burn have a look at ' Longmire ' both are on Netflix .

'True Detective " is a bit dark , great acting tho S1 .

'Black Mirror ' is a little weird / off centre .
