You could say the same about the fishing, dogs, bikes, and numerous other areas on this forum that aren’t directly associated with Land Rovers....

Would seem what was in the On Target section would fall within the adsense acceptable use guidelines policy of allowing hunting / sporting discussion. Unacceptable guidelines seem to be centred around discussion driving firearms sales, violent / illegal content such as bomb manufacture / use and the like.
Has AULRO received a warning from adsense over the content of "On Target" which has prompted this?
The said could be said about the Brewers den, photography, fishing etc etc.
Actually since no one is selling any fire arms or ammo it doesn't breach any policy.
Weapon-related content
What's the policy?

This includes but is not limited to the sales of ammunition, gun parts, hardware, pistols, rifles, BB guns, sporting guns, air guns, blow guns, and stun guns. This policy also prohibits the placement of ads on pages that sell explosives, including fireworks.

this is primarily a Land Rover forum which has grown to cater for associated interests.
if any interferes with the primary goal, it will be removed until i can work around it.
but it takes time.
neither subscriptions nor advertising can pay for the place on their own, so i need to balance it as best i can.
multiple violations in fact
i fought this as long as i could
could not let it drag on any further as it was getting out of hand.
and they dont give you specifics, you have to manually hunt through the content to find the violations
massive amount of mans hours could be wasted looking for it
as you can see it's not big on detail [biggrin]Quote:
Dear publisher,
This Google Publisher Policy Report gives you an overview of recent activity related to violations found on specific pages of your websites. As enforcement statuses may change over time, please refer to the "Page-level enforcements" section of the AdSense Policy Centre for the current list of active violations.
Please note this report doesn’t cover violations that may happen on an overall site or account level. You may be notified by a separate email if site or account level violations are found. Ads will continue to serve where no policy violations have been found, either at the page or site level.
In the last 24 hours:
• New violations were detected. As a result, ad serving has been restricted or disabled on pages where these violations of the AdSense Programme Policies were found. To resolve the issues, you can either remove the violating content and request a review, or remove the ad code from the violating pages.
Further details on enforcement can be found in the AdSense Help Centre. To learn more about our programme policies, please view the AdSense Programme Policies.
Kind regards,
