I had some ladder brackets like that, but decided last cleanup, that I'm old enough not to need them any more. Out they went .

One side of my place it is an 8 metre fall from the gutters. I have an ally ladder. I can now get halfway up before I chicken. To think I used to operate a 57' Abbey Traveltower.

    Hi,
When the roof fairies did their thing when building, they nailed the now empty brick pallets together on edge, along with any planks they could scrounge and jury rigged pretend scaffolding.
This was in winter, with ice on the plastic wrapped guttering.
    Big time dodgy!
    Cheers

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

I hate ladders. That moment stepping off one onto a roof or onto one from a roof. Terrifying.

Never had any problems going UP a ladder, but coming down always seems to boost the heart rate a bit!
No idea why it is so.

Because I'm vertically challenged I have to stand on the top step of a 3 step ladder to wash/wax the roof of both the D2 & SWMBO's Delica.
    I hate it.
Ask SWMBO to help, no, won't let me sit on her shoulders!

I'm thinking of parking next to the veranda & just turning the car around once 1 side is done.
