Then beautiful Sydney tomorrow ........ maybe.
I can't find the special oil filter spanner but did find a new air filter to add to the genuine cargo mat.
Your mate (Warren) finally picked up the HF radio today that he bought last March. :whistling:

Well I'm back in Sydney. Drive down was good until around Port Macquarie, thats when the traffic got pretty busy for the rest of the trip.
Having not driven on the old Pacific Hwy for 20 odd years they have done wonders with the road. About bloody time too, the old goat track was a shocker.
Anyway am in Sydney until Wednesday when I head back down Sesame st to get the ferry back home.
cheers

Have a pleasant drive down to Geelong and overnight on the ferry, I'm back home.
Did 900k's on 3/4 of a tank which is good economy---54ltrs.Which works out at 6ltr per 100k.
There is a BIG industrial complex on the northern outskirts of Melbourne.Dont know what the problem was, but the off ramp(north bound) was clogged up that the tailback on to the freeway went for about 15k's. Thankfully only a small hold-up going into Melbourne.
Traffic on way out to Geelong was pretty heavy as well but it was moving at least.
Ferry trip was a bit rougher coming out of Melbourne than it was coming into Melbourne.
Little beast went well and very happy with it.
Glad to be back home tho.
cheers

Goomereye, just up the road from Moffatdale wine region. [bigwhistle]
Small world. I’m in Goomeri too.[biggrin]
A bit late, I was in Vienna all last week. People might call it a beautiful city but not me. There is a sameness in the look of buildings that becomes boring. Apartment blocks reminded me of East Germany - soulless blockhouses.
Cars were in excellent condition and very clean.
It is expensive for food and drink. Every museum charged around 17-18 Euros (A$28-30) admission. Coffee (only small sized available) was about twice (A$8.50) what we pay at our local roaster. Beer was cheaper than soft drink.
Would I go back? No. To be honest, I didn’t want to go there but my wife insisted.
