    My wife just informed me that according to the temp gauge thing it is 26. Still great. Much better than cold old Melb🌧☃️☂️

    It can get pretty cold up through here and further west, been in Alice Springs more than once where it has bee -4 or so over night

    It can get pretty cold anywhere inland in winter - I remember crawling under my Kombi in the middle of the night to reconnect the heater between Morven and Augathella in winter. And seen ten below in the Simpson.

    So far south that at 9am and the sun still has not risen. And it is freezing!

    A view we all want to see…..(yes it is the right side of the road as well).



    Start of a 5hr drive to the “local” airport.

    This is 2,200kms south of Buenos Aires on National Highway 3.

    Looks like crossing the Nullarbor except instead of Kangaroos and Emus they have Guanacos and Ostriches.

    Similar to this, about half way through a 6 or 7 day drive from Sydney to Darwin.



    Taken yesterday between Blackall & Barcaldine.
    The countryside is in excellent condition right through western Qld with lush grasses right up to the roadside all the way so far.
    Currently at Cloncurry after passing through some jump-up country around Winton.
