Trouble with SE Asia is that when I get home, no matter how I try, which recipe I use, my best isn't as good as what you can get from any street vendor over there. And I'm a fair cook.

Bangers and mash doesn't come close.

If you survive over there without a gut upset you have done well,or been very, very lucky.

Anyway, just flying out of Queenstown, been all over the south end of the island, including another great E Bike tour.

Ah, the which maps thing is falling into place, now.
Enjoy and don't over exert the body.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Don't drink unsealed bottled water, never get ice in your drinks, never eat from buffets. DO carry Stemetil and Lomotil.... You can buy these there, and they are usually stronger than over the counter stuff bought here. Plan for a day off, which you cannot predict. Your gut will toughen up. But it's nearly always the water.

Going back there will definitely test my no alcohol resolve....

    Hi,
Two and a half years of Asian street food and no problems .
Can't say the same for a couple of top grade hotels or the RAAF mess though.
    Cheers

I eat street food the entire time, and plenty of spicy - although Isan spicy is given a pass Where are you logging in from (not your home town)

The extra bonus this trip was getting Covid on the plane ride home….
