Thread: Pedestrians allowed to walk two abreast on roads

Is there a footpath, or walking track on the far side of that barrier?

If not, I would suggest this is a good sign placed to advise drivers, going the same direction you are, that that would give them fair warning of possible upcoming danger if they should see walkers.

Otherwise, they should probably stay off the road altogether

I think it’ll take more than “one” sign to give the bikers a rest though

Do cyclists have to ride slowly behind the pedestrians until it is safe to pass?
Double white lines. I don't think they can pass.

Correct Castle Hill........

I ran up it twice, notice the sign so did a Drive by on the way to the airport.

The signs are handy as it’s very popular in the morning and afternoon for exercise......

You would have to be crazy to do that run in the middle of the day.
It's been forty years since the last time I ran up and down that hill and the signs weren't there then.

6am this morning 7.4km
