My work van with just the normal everyday gear is at 2720 on the scales going out of the dump.
That's with only me in it.
    GVM is around 2880KG.

Not much up the sleeve for gear for a job or two....,or with the trailer on.

Perhaps it's time to lose weight

My 101 with the Viscount on the back on Sunday.IMG_3926.jpg

The 101 had around 200 odd Kg of tools and other stuff in it as well as me. I know the ball weight of the van is 160Kg so that brings it in around 2,000Kg which is about right I think.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

That's not a nice name to call Mick!

I wrote this a few year back:

The Rangie has a roof rack, awning, long range tank, an LPG tank, Kaymar rear bar and wheel carrier. It doesn't have a bull bar (I took it off). It's fitted with drawers, an Engel fridge, and the tent was on the roof rack.

I put my new to me L320 TDV8 over that weighbridge yesterday.
2840kg including 100kg driver and full fluids. Split 1440 fr / 1400 rr. Oooohhhhh...
My brother put his Volvo S80 AWD V8 over it also and was mortified to see it show 2020kg with just him in it (~100kg) and maybe half a tank of fuel. Funny thing is that I'd been telling him that published official numbers (esp ECE cert) tell porkies a couple of days ago and he didn't believe me... Kept telling me his car was under 1800... Ha, ha, ha, ha. Nope.
