    Not necessarily.
    That old speedo brings back memories.
    It's a metric speedo, with mile markings too.
    Displayed distances in klm.

    Easy to reset tho.
    Mine stopped working at about 500K klms, and when I got the replacement(some chap in Ringwood, Vic) .. asked me if I wanted to keep it at zero or continue on from my 500-something K mark.
    Asked him to continue it .. he came back in about 5 mins with the same number as what mine had on it.

    Beautiful vehicle! If a bit pricey ...but what is it with the hideous yellow slug carpet on the transmission tunnel!? 😳

    Apart from the standard oil splatters on the underside!

    Would have been acceptable if it actually prevented rust, but it didn't.
    Mine rusted through in both footwells, and small bits around the pillars .. and the tailgate, and the ....

    As did my 1976 2 door. And if I recall correctly the speedo was metric, as I do recall having a free police radar speed check done one day long ago!

    ...sooo ...did you like that yellow slug? I drove on old Alfa with that carpet on the floor recently ...well it was that colour once! and clearly designed for those whose feet never touch the ground 😳
