I was actually asking about the build plate not the VIN ( compliance) plate. The build plate just has " built 06/98" for example.

My D1 build plate is next to the bonnet latch on top of the radiator.

The alloy one with VIN, paint, trim etc. ???

Will check when I get it back from the Indi next week. Definitely has build date, but I can’t remember what else was on it!
