Anyone in Sydney with a set of early stock Disco rims and 33" tyres I can borrow?

I'm in the process of getting the discovery below engineered and it turns out the rims I have have excessive offset and the engineer is making a fuss about it. Does anyone in Sydney have a set of stock rims with (or without) 33" tyres? I'm happy to pay for the inconvenience while the car is being assessed.

I have 3 sets of rims and they all have too much offset!

Hopefully someone can help me out!

Hi Phil, thanks for the offer! Are they 16" or 15" rims?

Yes, I think you are right. The tyres I have are 15" which is a PITA! Hmm need to think how I can solve this without needing to buy a new set of tyres..

Pretty much all LR stud pattern 15" rims will have a 0 or neg offset so not much use to you, stock 16" rims are your only option.

His wheels appear to be -25 offset so 0 offset in 15 "should be fine me thinks

    Hi Col,
The offer sounds interesting! Are the stock tyres on the 130's the equivalent to 33's or 32's?

Quite right!! Although, I think you are only permitted to increase offset by 10mm, and from what I've read, the stock disco 1s are +13mm offset? So that would mean I can get away with +3mm offset rims?

It is looking like I can't get away from using 16" rims though... Which means different tyres need to be purchased!

Tyres are toyo open country AT,s 235 85 r16, so closer to 32".
I run MTs for trips away to places I may need them, ie the Snowys this weekend, and run the wolf rims with AT's for general driving/touring.
You're welcome to use the wolfies for a week or so.
