Yeah, I'm not sure it was the best they could do, they chose a company from the USA to organise it. Too long, too boring, a little too much kitsch. But, hey, it's all about the athletes and the competition, isn't it? Any one complaining about the opening ceremony has missed the entire point. The athletes voted with their feet. Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed the days of competition.
