    Mate -- don't get me wrong, the whole AIS Track & Field program should be shut down and asked to account for the millions that has gone into it over the years.

    Just to prove my point, the Australian Mens 200m record is still held by Peter Norman, who came second in the Mexico Olympics in 1968!!! Why cannot Pete get his kit off and earn a few bucks, at least he has an OLYMPIC medal.

    well I, for one, am boycotting (is that how it's spelt...? ops: ) the commonwealth games! the only sport that i'm interested in is cricket and rally driving (also 4wd events) and shooting!

    but the more important thing is the commonwealth games is broadcast right through Mcleods Daughters for two weeks!!! not happy!!! :wink:

    i didn't even know where they get their funding untill now, and that just makes it even worse!!!

    It is all a load of ****e. The money spent on athletes, artists etc is a total waste and should be a low priority or private industry funded. Lets get our hospitals, schools etc in order first. Oh and a Porsche GT3 for me at tax payers expense.

    I would not say Tamsyn is ugly, neither is Jana. There is too much drama in this beat up. Jana is more talented, but threatening to go o/s! That is a cop out. The media are to blame for most of this. Maybe these two girls should get a part on Home & Away.
    Good luck to all the athletes competing, will not be watching much though.

    If we redirected the funding from these areas and from ATSIc or its new incarnation. Australia would be Utopia, with no one having to worry about anything.
