    Roof Racks for Disco's

i was the losing bidder for a Tradesman brand rack for a disco. I ended up getting a second chance when the original buyer withdrew because the rack would fit a D1, not a D2. I'm sure I read here that the 2 models were the same as far as width and gutters are concerned. Anyone have any clues?

    Alan,

Call Tradesman Engineering directly they are very helpful.

They are in Bayswater. Tel 9761 7466.

At least you will get it from the horses mouth, so to speak.

    Well half a clue:

The dimension between outside face of gutters on a D1 is 1500 mm

Each gutter is 30 mm wide overall (outside face to roof)

The D2 is wider than the D1 but I don't have one to measure.

Wardy! do you have a D2 and a tape measure?

Pretty hard to measure accurately, but I reckon it's got to be a near run thing! Looks awfully close to 1500 to me but maybe narrower??? Anyone else tried to measure it?
