    At a guess, got out of bed that morning.

    I think the OP failed to notice the car that pulled out in front of the truck and assumed the truck driver slammed on the brakes for no reason. If I am in error, yes, I too would like to know what the truck driver did wrong.

    If people could post the dashcam footage directly to the forum instead of having to put it on YouTube first I imagine we would see a lot more vids.

    2 reasons I can think of - first is that the forum server would get clogged up with videos - they take up a lot of space and space costs money. Secondly, uploading to Youtube is very easy and makes it much easier to share the video accross multiple platforms. You can upload a video to your youtube account straight from your phone even if you want, only takes a few minutes.
