I have just bought a new tank pump to replace the Chinese tank pump I bought 10 years ago.
It looks like the contactors are dying as it will not restart without 3-4 presses of the restart button. It sat out in the weather only under a protruding shelf and was often completely surrounded by gum leaves.
The old pump had 1 new bearing near the pump about 5 years ago and 2 new bearings and a seal about 1 year ago. It was incredibly easy to work on. It cost AFAIR $119 and is 1200watts .
It replaced a Australian made pump which cost me about $280 AFAIR , and failed one month out of the one year warranty with failure of a "motor temperature sensor" which apparently was unfixable according to the manufacturer who laughed when it was one month out of warranty.
So I just bought an identical looking pump with a 1500W motor for $139.
So much for Chinese crap Vs Australian quality.

Our house water is bore water and it tends to Kill pressure pumps on a regular basis.
I first installed an expensive Davey pump and it lasted a couple of years and carked it so I replaced it with a cheap Ozito pump which lasted a couple of years as well.
I have just replaced the pump with a new Ozito unit and at a couple of hundred bucks each they will do the same job as the expensive units as far as I am concerned and they don't make as big a hole in my wallet.
