You're spot on Slunnie, with many a point. Correct he has relapsed and back into the thick of it now. Also correct in saying gutting for him (just couldn't imagine going through everything he has) and also for surrounding family of whom are with him practically majority of the day, every day (luckily there are a few that can share the load!). For me, the emotional drain takes it's toll and not helped being 850kms away but he realizes that I too have my own large-ish family to take care of.
Anyway, point is.... everyone that donates is undertaking a brilliant, selfless roll and it's really taken this event for me to see the importance and now sense of urgency for myself to donate when I can. I'm sure many people have life events/stories they can relay.
