Put a New Discovery body on it and you're away.
I have a money jar set aside for the new Electric Defender, if the Defender resembles the rest of the LR family (RR/ D5) I wont be buying it & will get the I-pace instead.

Some aftermarket parts come with Made in UK on box and also another sticker that says C 0f O (country of origin) ie made in UK and C& O Germany. so they are either made in the UK and then transported to Germnany or China etc and stored to be then distributed from there or a those Counties are now part of the UK

Land Rover to move Discovery production to Slovakia

Lose Now, Win Later | Jaguar Land Rover is moving all production of its Land Rover Discovery SUV to Slovakia from a plant near Birmingham, and retooling the Birmingham factory to make a new generation of electric cars, Kaye Wiggins reports. All Discovery production will be gone from the U.K. by early 2019. While some agency-employed plant workers may lose their jobs, the decision to build electric vehicles at Solihull looks like a major commitment to U.K. manufacturing.

Exactly what I'm saying. The box might be made in UK. ( label should read made from local and imported ingredients)

Brexit could result in a 10% tariff on British products entering the EU, so LR would want to avoid that extra cost handicap.

Or is it a form of protectionism?
If British-made (not British branded) parts are used it could take the product past the acceptable percentage of non-EU content.
