    It's because of new ADRs being introduced later this year around stability control and anti lock braking.

    Because these systems are designed and tested specifically for the manufacturers GCM, any upgrades will require significant testing, possible destructive. It's just too hard so the nanny state bans it.

    Does it mean the latest upgrade from Thailand rear drum brakes on all utes made there to disc, will not be allowed.
    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    It means whatever modifications are done to upgrade the GVM, the GCM cannot be altered.

    I think it has something to do with the introduction of ADRs 88 and 89.
