    PHOTO'S

    I need help, can any one tell me why all of a sudden when I upload photo's on my thread they keep turning on there side & up side down. Also when I click in the icon at the top of the page what it brings up has changed & I have to load the photo's a different way to why way I was doing it. Also I have found when I try to put photo's on a PM they now can't be opened .
    Is any one else having trouble? It could be the upgrade Windows 10 did late last week because my scanner /printer has stopped scanning also & am having trouble shutting the computer down it just keeps restarting . Looks like a norther $150 for the computer shop after a norther Windows 10 upgrade , the scanner problem happens after every second up grade they do & last week they did one 3 days in a row. Grrrrrrrrrr Windows 10

    Re the scanner, download VueScan and that will get rid of upgrade problems.

    I use it with scanners that haven't been supported since Windows 95, i.e., HP5P flatbed and a Nikon LS1000 slide scanner. I've used it with XP, Win 7, and Win 10. I liked it enough to buy it and get regular, frequent, free upgrades. It supports hundreds of scanners.

    I have no problems with image uploads from a URL or my computer.

    I had similar problems with Windows 10 and a couple of its upgrades.

    I bought an Apple MacBook Pro and haven't looked back.

    That's what my son in law keeps telling me , Unfortunately I have not had this desk top that long so need to persevere . I spoke to Micro soft about & they just told me they can do what they like when they like or words to that effect as that is the way the program is set up.

    I'm still running XP on the home PC (yes I'm a dinosaur) and when moving pictures from the iphone they display correctly but when uploaded to Flikr they are on their side.
    It seems it depends how you take the picture, the phone & the PC automatically orientate the picture correctly but this is lost on uploading.

    Cure has been to rotate picture left, rotate right then save........ all OK on upload then.

    I have tried that but it still comes out on side or up side down . Strange it just started last week after the windows 10 up grade. It did it once before after an up grade also, was ok after a visit to the computer shop.
