Thread: The Simmo is WET!

Just thought I’d let everyone know that about 25mm of rain fell up here at Birdsville over the last 2 days. This has led to MANY roads being closed including Birdsville Track, Cordillo Road etc. innamincka and Cameron’s Corner are currently not accessible.
These tracks will probably all open again over coming days, but they will remain soft for at least a week.
5 cars and 2 trucks required recovery from the Birdsville track just north of mungeraine yesterday.
Take care if you’re coming to BRB next week.
