Surely must be a mod? There's a brand new SR5 at work that one of the Managers has just leased and I haven't noticed them on that, but will have a look next week when I'm over there.

No. I had a grey import Nissan Civilian (from Japan) that had amber front park lights. To get registered, the lights had to be changed to white.

Are the HiLux lights really blue or are they white LEDs? I noticed a bus this morning had what I thought were blue park lights. As it got closer, I saw they were white LEDs.

    I stand corrected.
I was told the BMW cars were allowed there lights in AUS because they complied over there but obviously i was wrongly informed.

Passed three in a row.think they were the running lights around the top of the headlights, but still very blue, thought it was the coppers at first.

Had this discussion with a cop who pulled me over about blue led park lights was told only white light from the front of your car cost me $75.00 but no points lost he said if I didn't change the park lights the next time he would road worthy me.

In my area I see lots of Merc/BWM/ type late models and they all seem to have a very blue cast to their headlights.
I think the light colour is very blue(6000-6500K) plus the use of refractor lenses. I think the use of projection lenses accentuates the blueness too.
