    Blood Moon.

    It happened in Mornington Vic too. Clear morning at last. Sounds like somewhere North of me people celebrated with fireworks.

    haven't seen the moon that red, for that long, since I was a kid, when it was red for a week after a volcano eruption..

    Not impressed. The moon will want to turn on a better show than that to get me excited at 4am.
    If i bought a ticket i would want my money back.

    For the record I thought is was pretty impressive, crystal clear dawn here on the NSW north coast, but I think just looking at stars and clouds and stuff is cool.

    I got up at 5.25am and went outside for a leak and thought the moon was on fire. The sky is falling.....arrrrgghh.
    Not.
    I was amazed at what i saw. Ive never seen the moon like that before. I tried to take a couple of pics with my phone but i dont think they turned out very well. Ill post them anyway. I was overcome by this amazing phenomenon. So beautiful.
