The car show SOS is not a bad show.
I'm not quite sure if it was them, but pretty sure they got absolute top dollar for their restored S1.
It's not often that Classic RRs appear on TV let alone be the star attraction but today proved to be an exception in that two Classic RRs took centre stage on two different TV shows.
11 AM on 9 GO today - Car SOS. A UK television show.
The show was about the surprise body, paint and mechanical restoration of a poor condition maroon 3.5 V8 Classic RR. I have no idea what year it was. It looked and sounded like a new one when finished.
Then this show was followed by Deals, Wheels and Steals which is another UK tv show.
A poor condition ex police Classic V8 RR was purchased at auction by a dealer who did a home respray, a tidy up and proceeded to demonstrate its prowess to a potential purchaser by tackling an off road course. The car cost him 900 quid, 900 on repairs and still made a profit of 1200.

The two door models should be where the attention is put.
And that is why you don't import cars from the UK. That one has probably rarely been driven on salted roads ...... And just look how bad it was.... Incredibly rotten!

They glossed over about 500hours of labour in that show. It give people a very poor idea of the time and effort involved in restoring a car like they did. They think you can roll it into the shed and rebuild it over the weekend.
That car would have had a team of people working on it for weeks (by team .... I mean probably 1/2dozen people all working on different parts of it at the same time). The bodywork alone was probably a hundred man hours of labour!

I cant help wondering if some of those shows might just grab an already restored car, a dunger, and use creative license (?).
Counting Cars for one hardly show any of the build.
