My first thought is that is far too big.
Fridges tend to be one of those things that gets filled no matter how big it is.
It seems that if you get a big fridge, you can fill it. If you get a small fridge you can manage because you get smarter about how you use it.

On the other topic of this thread, it is true that you get what you pay for as long as you realise that sometimes what you are paying for is the name and sometimes you are paying to cover some of the cost the company spent on marketing.

Im sort of tempted to get this despite the varying comments in this thread.
I like the capacity and top loading is a must for me. Dunno thoughts?
Very big unit. Won't be much room for anything else in the back of the vehicle with that in there but if you have need of something that big, so be it. If you're travelling a lot I could see needing a freezer but for weekending I don't see the point persoanlly.

For a camper i am building and i have a family of 6 so i need something a little bigger. We camp a lot and wifey insists on a fridge freezer setup.
I am making one that will be slightly submerged into the chassis to fit it. So going big also suits replacing later one.

    Fish fillets.

Would be a great fridge to have if you are out on a hunting or fishing trip!

I have an ARB , in the landrover & in use all the time .
There are 2 others in the family that get used for camping & parties .
All 3 have been excellent for many years , I would highly recommend them .
My other one is a Trailblazer 125lt for fishing trips . Freezes ice blocks overnight ready for the boat esky next morning , absolutely brilliant .

Yep. If you had the space, and could carry the weight. and actually caught fish. Thankfully, Stanage bay is within reach, mud crabs and fish, you just have to work for them. 1770 is ok, but if you don't have a reef boat, limits you a bit. But hey, whatever happens, beats sitting at home.

Most of the gear I have seen in the ARB shops are rebadged Chinese products and are overpriced.
It pays to shop around and be patient and wait for the "Specials" that come up from time to time for anything camping related.
I have bought a lot of stuff from. 4WD Supercheap and have been well pleased with the quality But I would never touch one of their fridges.
Cold beer and a reliable freezer is very important to me so I am not prepared to take chances on reliability by saving a few quid on a Chinese knockoff.
