    Nice Blue Td5

Parked in Morwell yesterday 2 spots from a nice blue Td5.
Very clean outside i must say. Anyhoo i was waiting in my car for the missus and noticed the owner of the disco come back to his car.
Which brings me to the reason i post this.

D1 owner obviously but an older chap also (thus aulro)

Gave him the look but he did not reciprocate. Did not so much as look at my car. (covered in mud at the time cause...... well it goes in mud)

He sits in his car and still not a single look my way. Cranks the old girl over and nothing. Errrr Errr Errr Errr over and over. Hmmmmm me knows why he did not look my way.

Eventually COUGH!!!!! black smoke and the disco comes to life..... All be it a sad life. Poor old girl was not running well at all.

Old guy drives past and not so much as a head nod ya cranky old bugger!!!

So was it one of the members here i ponder?

But those of us here realise that by and large Discovery and Tdci Deefer drivers don't wave.

Just Snapped out 2400 klm in 4 days between Townsville and Brisbane and return in my 2001 td5 Disco. Waved merrily away at both Defenders and Disco's. Got one wave for the whole trip about 100 klm south from Townsville on the return journey. Whats happening is waving a dying art ?

I'd say more likely explanation is that they all have their eyes glues to the various instruments warning them of an impending catastrophe!
    (ie. didn't see 'ya!)

Should've told me you were in town Baz, I'd've waved and bought you a beer. Heck, I even drink with D2 Doomadgee drivers.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

I agree with the watching the gauges. i cant complain bought the disco for its long range tank ,2001 Auto 6 months ago and ended up driving it home ($1000) . Bowen to Townsville. Flushed radiator and flushed the head sealer out. Anyway did the head gasket, changed the ball joints and got it Registered. Drive to Brisbane was its first big run. Filled up at 1000 klm to tank, temp averaged 80 for the whole trip via nanocom and engine watchdog. Used no oil or coolant for whole trip, ran like a gem.
