    Hi,
I believe Parks have gated the last part of the Lake Cumberland track before the muddy bit at the top.
Track damage and irresponsible driving on soft ground being the reasons given.
    Cheers

I have been to Tassie twice and am going again at the end of August. One of my highlights was the train trip from Strahan to Queenstown.

Parts of this track are so steep there is a ratchet running up the middle of the track for the engine to latch on to.

    The scenery is fantastic.

    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
